With all this talk about the SRTs, I forgot about this weekend's fun times!

I was on my way to a baptism this week, and was actually 'group jumped' by these 3 riced out lookin cars. One was a green older model Eclipse, and newer model Talon with all the body kits it could hold, and a suprisingly nice looking Civic. These 3 like took turns on me, it was crazy. First the guy in the older green Eclipse comes running up on my ass hard. Since there was little traffic, I figured this was to egg me on, so I obliged by dropping into third and put like 2-3 car lengths on him before he let off. Then he drops back, and gets next to the newer Talon, and the Talon shoots up next to me. He looks over and gives me this smirk, and again I shift to 3rd and pulled on this guy even harder. I hope he wasn't supposed to be the faster car. The guy in the Honda didn't even bother. So I let them pass me, and the actually get in front of me like a blockade. One in each lane, and an uninvolved car in the right lane. As soon as we get past the other car, these guys both hit it, I think they were trying to use another car farther up as another blocker. I wasn't having any of that shit. One more 3rd gear drop, and this time I let it wind all the way through and into 4th. Looked like Matchbox cars in the rearview mirror.

I was getting pretty close to the dragstrip down here in Joliet, so I'm thinking they were on their way to do some 1/4 mile runs. Not sure if its even open yet...

Right on, you lucky bastard . . .
It sucks, all the driving I do is either so early in the morning there is no one around (worthwhile, i get bored whoppin on semi's) OR it is in rush hour traffic. I always try to find the perfect run.
Good kill spooner or should I say kills. Where do you live at to find this much action. I live in Kansas City, MO and its pretty good sized but the streets and freeways are all ways so friggin packed. I still have yet to see a RL. I've seen a few IONs but when I took a closer look they were just coupes. Hell, Ive only seen like 1 or 2 other SRT4s around my area.
Can't Be, DSM's can nE\/Er LoSe. Just playin, good kill. These cars are nothing without a little boost.

I'm in Chicago. It's all of a sudden too, I mean there are always lots of people around. It's also spring break around here for the colleges and the high schools, AND the NCAA tournament was going on. All of this along the interstate I take into Chicago.

I've only seen 2 SRTs around here. One I see a few times a week, same guy, black SRT. Actually, I guess I've seen more than 2, not many, like 2 black ones, and a red one. Maybe one or two more. Most of the people are thinking they've got an easy kill. I've only seen 1 other Redline around here too. A black one driving through Schaumburg.

I did catch one of those lime green quad-coupes with the Redline wing on it this morning. Seen a couple of the quad coupes.

These things on the highway were total pieces of crap. I mean the green, older one had the front clip hanging almost to the ground, and the rear spoiler was missing in the middle, must have been for aerodynamical reasons! The redish, newer Talon had a body kit, but it was filthy, and the bottom of all the ground effects were cracked and frayed. From behind, I thought the Talon would be a good race, even thought it might take me with all the 'work' done to it. I'm not sure that either were turbos, I THINK the green one was, not sure though.

They were just looking for easy kills on a Saturn with a body kit...

Hey, hey, hey, watch it now. These things were built in the usa. Plus a lot of mustangs has had the privalge of knowing what my rear bumper looks like.
Speaking of which i had to lay the smack down on a full exhaust/geared 98gt last night. And this was at 14.5psi/18psi and its over. But its all good though.

Built in the USA, designed in Japan. Sorry Boosted, i love your lightning but u wont sway me on an eclipse. Hell i wouldnt take a 10 second one over my stang anyday!!! Id rather have an Srt-4, a damn neon, before a DSM. U do have a clean version of one unlike most around here but just dont like em.
