Went to my local drag strip today to get a baseline for the M62 before I turbo swap the car.

This is the car's first trip to a drag strip in years due to clutch issues.

It was also my first time in a LONG time driving a manual FWD at the track. So I was a bit rusty.

That said, I feel like I represented our cars fairly well. A lot of people were surprised that a Saturn could run like that.

I guarantee that with better tires than the crappy Nankangs I was on I could drop those times by 0.5 or better and be in the mid 13's. The trap speed is there.

Here's the slip.

With that mph, and traction, you can be knocking down 13.50s.

Once that turbo is dialed-in, you should pick up another 10mph or more, depending on how much boost you're running.

No doubt.

I'm waiting on parts to come in, but I hope to see 120-ish. I have to get the kit installed, tune it, and get some Hoosiers before I head back to the dragstrip, but I'd like to see mid 12's or better.

I hope to run 20 psi or so, we'll just have to see what 93 octane E10 will allow.
