OK boys and girls heres my story. Im trying to make a bunch of easy things for our cars but cant do that without a finiancial backing. Im not asking for money Im asking for Promise from some members here. I see theres a few that want to help but I need buyers more than I need helpers. If I were to continue the venture of the parts I can make then I need at least enough buyers to make up for my finiancial input if you know what I mean.
I needed to buy a welder that I can use relaibly while making the product look good. I have to buy some 3 inch dies for my bender. I dont have a mandrel bender but It makes smooth bends and works great but I only have 2 inch dies and smaller. To make an intake and test pipes a 2.5 and 3 inch will be needed. I have all the tools needed and the proper measuring devices.
I have decided to make the Intakes in 2 forms short that will have a large diamater pipe with the MAF fitting welded on and polished up and the long which will require drilling through the Air Box instead of removal for some of us that havent yet. If you have removed it that is fine as well it will be easy for you. This intake will route the filter into the fender well.
Test pipe with out a 02 bung. You will need either a simulator which will supress a code or you can deal with the check light on which will be the 02 code but it wont affect your car or make it go into limp mode.
Torque Dampener I have a working one in shop now but I need a better welder to make these myself. I almost had a shop local make them but after what Adam(Scdyne) went through I want to keep all fabrication to myself so I can bethe only excuse.
Cat-Backs will be so hard to make for me because I dont have a stock setup at all. A 3 inch would have to be built on site I can try but a bolt on would be hard to duplicate over and over again. I can make either 2.5 inch or just resonator back system for a louder setup and to remove the small spots.
Gauge Pods these are pretty easy to make and full of gauges I can make them and ship them preassembled all you do is wire and screw into place. This would require some time to get correct but I can do anything.
Please if you are interested in the Intake, Test Pipe, and Dampener mostly lemme know I need at least 5 people to say Yes I will buy as soon as you make them available so I can put myself in debt to get the correct tools. I was going to make a PreBuy like Adam did but I wasnt sure if you guys would be on board or not. I have every intention to make these parts at the best cost possible for you becuase thats what I expect from a member Honesty.
