Ahwile ago people were talking about having custom pillar pods made and has anyone found anything out?

Yeah, I was the one organizing that.

The company would not do it because it is illegal to make pillar pods for cars where side airbags are an option. Apparently they might interfere with the air bag opening properly.

Yes it is illeagle to have if you have side curtain airbags, those who don't have that option can get it installed. I emailed a guy about having one made for me but I have yet to hear back from him. Speaking of which I should email him

I used a first generation Talon pod and a heat gun to make mine. To about 30 to 45 mins to shape it.

im having one custom molded into another a-pillar as we speak.

its all gonna be one piece, oh yeah!


i do have the side curtain airbags, i dont think itll be that much of a big deal though do you guys? im sure we'll be able to install it.

if not ill just sell it on here to some lucky bidder, haha.
