I am wondering what muffler would be better for the redline. I am either going to go with a flowmaster 60 series or a magnaflow. The reason I am asking is because some people say magnaflow because of the straight through design and others say flowmaster because the chambered design doesn't cause you to loose that much back pressure. Any help would be great.

are you going with a custom 3'' exhaust? if not wouldn't it be a problem to have a 3'' inlet on that muffler?


if anything get the most free flowing you can since the redline is f/i you don't need back pressure in the exhaust system

I ordered a magnaflow but I got one of the ones with 2.25 inch inlet to go with the 2.25 stock exhaust. Maybe after some parts come out for the redline I will go bigger but for now this will be fine. I mainly just want to get the big stock muffler off at this point in time.

I was thinking about FlowMaster or Ravin muffler. any comments
