The LSD will make more of a difference on turns as opposed to straight line acceleration. And you never want to do the LSD yourself unless you are a real mechanic. And you are putting your friend over a barrel with the $100 install. He'll make like 10 bucks an hour. And by the way, if he screws up, what is your recourse?
