It's a Saturn, doesn't matter if it is geared towards the performance side. GM hasn't stepped up for the stepchild and won't. It'll put all it's love into the Cobalt SS and we'll get the left overs. That simple. Plus the market isn't that strong with Redline owners. How many people can honestly say they are going to blow a grand on coilovers...

There has been less that 10,000 of these cars produced. That's an average of 20 cars per state. As you can imagine, the barrage of performance parts is a little slow until we get louder. AND LOUDER WE SHALL BECOME!!!!!

Edited:
Just checked the SPS webpage, there are already coil-overs for the regluar Ion models. Would that not fit our application? I know that people are putting springs on the car already. I think part of it is waiting until people figure out what parts on the market will fit the RedLine. For instance, K&N didn't even have a replacement filter listed on their website for the Redline. SPS on the other hand is already selling the K&N model that fits. Just wasn't originally made for the RedLine. No one made a rear disc conversion for the SC2 that I was aware of, but SPS built a kit out of the front discs and mounting hardware. So stuff will come!

What about the Koni Coil overs for the QC? They sell those at SPS. Think those would fit?

I've got an order in for the Koni's from SPS. Koni is addressing a problem with the strut core and as soon as they have fixed it, it will be in the mail.

There are people still jaded over the whole Eibach fiasco with SPS and therefore don't trust John when he says that the Koni's will work for the RL. I've spoken with him numerous times and I am convinced that they will.

I have spoken with Progress and they have no plans on releasing a coil-over kit for the RL and carrera no longer makes custom parts for Saturn, they were aquired by QA1 precision products.
I have no interest in Eibach's so I have yet to contact them.

The problem is that there was less than 5000 sold last year and the demand is not there! Compare RL :) numbers to the Suburu WRX and Saturn just can't match that! I would love to see more RL's sold but we have to keep looking for other options. Saturn owners are very creative and should be able to come up with something! We are working with a suspension company (they will remain un-named) and I hope to have something soon! i am delivering a car so they can work something out!
