the saturn will be the better buy, especially considering that there won't be any discounts on the cobaltSSs/c for a while after release, which is a while anyways, and if sales go good, which i'm betting they will, you're looking at waiting for the '06's to be ready to get on the lots before you get any deals on dealers trying to dump off the '05s

don't forget, you won't have door dings with the saturn, which to me, holds more value

get a redline...

1. people wont look quite like this  when they get beaten by a chevy.....they will when its a saturn.

2. the redline doesnt look like chevy mated a cavalier with a civic

3. the redline has plenty of originality, the cobalt does not.

i could go on and on, but alot of ppl made very valid points that id make as well.

dont get me wrong, the cobalt is definitely a sweet ass car, and i love checking them out.....i just would not buy it, even if the redline was not available.

i have some predictions about the cobalt, but im not gonna say em for fear of starting a cobalt/redline war.
