Anyone know anything about this? I want to do an intake modification, but don't want to spend $400, nor do I want to chainsaw cut my intake. . .

you can take out the airbox perfectly fine, just need to remove the radiator hose, loosen the ABS module, and unbolt the PCM plugs, power/ground wires, etc., sounds like more work than it is, but it's doable, and that filter would probobly be nice too, as long as it flows good...

Nah. I've just had more important things to do I guess. And as I'm sure you all know, there really isn't a whole lot going on here that is all that useful since there are no mods to speak of and that's why I come on here. Although I do enjoy our exchanges. . .

Anyone actually know anything about if this is a good filter or not? I will probably still take off the airbox, but not until I have a filter like this one.
to be honest, i'd use the filter PSI-FI is using, it fits in the stock airbox, but doesn't take up the whole area so you get a much better flow (that is what they told me)
I talked with a tech at a dealer in Colorado, he said that we should just remove the box. And if we really wanted to, get the K&N filter for the Vue (apparently it fits our cars to) Said we would get a decent amout of HP gain and all we have to do is remove that part, and that is no problem. So why spend the money.

And yes I did buy the same filter, but gave it to a freind after I realized the work involved. I was very unmotivated that day, and it was snowing.

anyone know what filter PSI is using? i remember them mentioning the HKS foam filter, and i found some on ebay. but i was wondering if they were using a 3.5 or 3" flange inside diameter!?!?

the 3" is technically too small, so if it won't fit i don't want to waste the money, and 3.5 is too big, but you can just wrench it on there (i assume).

trying to figure this out, i'd like to get something off ebay soon
that is just a cheap filter. same as apc or 3a racing i wouldnt use it on my car.
